The game's artist is Miki Sugina (杉菜水姫 Sugina Miki?) and the script is written by Yuki Masuda (ますだ由希 Masuda Yuki?). PP -Pianissimo-'s opening theme, Butterfly (蝶 Chō?), and ending theme, «Distance», are performed by Haruka Shimotsuki.

On Getchu.com, a popular Japanese game selling site, PP -Pianissimo- was the 46th bestselling visual novel for the year of 2006.
Release History
The game was originally released for Windows on September 29, 2006. It was later rereleased as a DVDPG by Blueberry Soft on May 23, 2008. PP: Pianissimo was also included in the 3-game bundleInnocent Grey Mystery Collection along with Kara no Shoujo andCartagra, released on July 24, 2009.
