Bugs
The game is known for being riddled with bugs, such as crashing back to desktop at a particular date, usually within 3 seasons. Even when loading a previous game, the game will still crash at that date, thus forcefully ending the game.
Also some save games become unloadable, making constant and multiple saves a recommendation.
Other oddities included the tendency for Manchester United to be relegated in the first season of the game (1998–99) and Bury being promoted to the FA Premier League in the very same season.
